Big Science Sweden is a Swedish national initiative that connects domestic industry, universities, and research institutes with major international big science facilities to drive innovation and secure business opportunities. The organization facilitates interactions between Swedish stakeholders and key technical contacts at thirteen global research infrastructures where Sweden holds membership or financial contributions.

• Industries: Serves high-tech suppliers and engineering firms seeking to participate in procurement programs for facilities like CERN, GSI/FAIR, and the European XFEL.
• Operations: Functions as a publicly funded consortium supported by the Swedish Research Council, Vinnova, and several regional authorities alongside major universities.
